Vaccine Rollout Information
For the most up to date information, be sure to check the Region of Peel's website.
First and Second Dose Eligibility
If you or your child are aged 5 and over, you can book your first or second dose of the vaccine through the provincial booking system or call centre at 1-833-943-3900. You can also go to a local pharmacy, clinic, or pop-up location.
Children aged 5-11 will receive a pediatric dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. Both vaccines are safe and effective to give to children and will protect them from contracting the virus. You can read more about pediatric doses and how it will protect your child on the Peel website.
Booster Dose
If you are 18 or older, you can book your booster dose through the provincial booking system or call centre at 1-833-943-3900. You can also go to a local pharmacy, clinic, or pop-up location.
Booking your booster dose is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones from variants of concern such as Omicron.
Proof of Vaccination
Once you are fully vaccinated after receiving both of your vaccine doses, you can download your proof of vaccination certificate from the Government of Ontario website. You will need this proof of vaccination to enter non-essential businesses like movie theatres and indoor dining or to travel both domestically and abroad on planes and trains.
We have developed a standardized proof of vaccination that you can use as a safe and reliable way to prove your vaccination status both in Canada and internationally. This new document will contain a QR code that aligns with the SMART Health Card Standard, a globally recognized standard for vaccinations and will be compatible with the ArriveCAN app for returning travelers to Canada.
