About Ruby Sahota
Since being elected in 2015 as the Member of Parliament for Brampton North, Ruby Sahota has been an effective voice for Brampton, working directly with the Prime Minister and Ministers on specific issues and championing strong solutions. Through Ruby’s leadership and advocacy, Brampton’s major priorities are moving forward including: public transit, post-secondary education investments, $10/day childcare, reducing taxes, and making life more affordable for you.
When she isn't helping constituents in Brampton North, Ruby is active in Ottawa, serving as Deputy Whip for the Government and member of the Board of Internal Economy and Procedure and House Affairs Committee, which she previously Chaired.
Ruby's determination to be accessible and hardworking for her constituents, while encouraging more women and young people to get involved in politics, has deepened her passion for public service. Her background as a lawyer and as a mother have helped her be a productive and compassionate MP for our Brampton community. Ruby will continue working to keep Canada moving forward and build a better future for Brampton and all Canadians.
